INTRIGUED!

update mate, update!

The world lies in a state of no trust. Eight empires who wish to dominate. Two alliances battle it out for total supremacy. Germany, Austria, Russia, China, England, France, Italy and The Ottomans.

Germany, Austria and Italy share the same alliance.

England, France and all their minors share another.

China, Russia and The Ottomans still lay out of everything as neutral countries but how long will it last?

Germany looks towards France as a way of expansion. Her access to the Atlantic ocean will provide Germany with much freedom.
Italy wishes to re-create her Roman Empire of ancient days for a new golrious empire.
Austria looks to Russia where she would like to expand to the Black Sea to provide an acess to the Middle East.
China Though already a large empire wishes to expand down into the lands of India and French Indo-China.
Japan Masters of Islands. Japan wishes to control the entire Pacific with no opposing armies.
Russia The largest standing country. Everybody wants some of Russia. Her most feared enemies lay west of her.
The Ottomans The largest empire of the Middle East. Her boarders rival with Persia and England. Two areas in which she wishes to expand.

England And France Already established empires they wish mostly to keep rival empires at bay. Germany has been creating a Navy in which to rival the Royal Navy.

Since 1914 Europe has been on a military stand off. Boarders have been fortified to the max. Germany and France did this more than anybody else. Facing each other are concrete walls, trenches and artillery cannons of a calibur higher than 400mm. Anybody foolish enough to attack will be obliterated. Men have been stationed in these fortifacations for years. It is a town inside itself, you eat, sleep and live there. Men keep an eye all night. If Somebody comes to close they die, everyone knows that.

Germany and Austria are of best friends, they have worked together on everything. Following the communist coup in Russia during the late 1920's Germany and Austria worked together on creating the longest line of fortifacations since the Great Wall of China. From Memel in Germany to Lvow in Austria, everything is fortified. Heavy cannons and machine guns are backed by walls more than 20feet thick. Behind that, hundreds of Anti Aircraft Guns. You cannot fly over the wall, any attack will be pushed off with ease. Memel and Lvow are the two most fortified provinces of them all due to the geographical position.

In 1914 the world was on the brink of war. A 19 year old boy in Sajreavo was on a mission to assinate the Archduke. However the Austrians had him heavily guarded. There was a leak and the boy's mission was found out. However they let him continue with his plan. A trap was set for him at the staging grouds. Three Austrian snipers using the new Kar98 rifle were waiting for him. They had a picture of him as well. Eugen Beyer, who is now the Cheif Of Army in Austria found him. He waiting untill he left the croud and with the slight pull of a finger one .303 round left the muzzle of his rifle and struck the 19 year old boy right between his eyes.

The story was carried off as a murder by a man in the croud. That did not go over well as one of the other snipers who left the military told the story. That man was shortly disposed of.

In 1929 a new technology was discovered. They called it tank, a German invension, it was a large metal bodied...car. It was an Armored Fighting Vehicle. It originally carried 3 machine guns and 1 30mm cannon but was soon updated. Now in 1936 they are highly advanced. They carry a 30mm cannon and can travel at speeds up to 40km/h on the road. Early tanks would hit 20km/h on a good day and were easily destroyed.

In the 1910s and 20s lots of work went into the production of aircraft, in 1931 an Austrian inventor created the "monoplane". At first he was insulted greatly but in the 1932 Olympics in some country aircraft racing was introduced. He easily won the gold medal. He named his plane the One Wing Biplane, which made no sense at all.

Germany took the greatest step in building a modern airforce. After Zimmermann came into power in 1934 this went into full gear. In order to confuse the British he duisguised the planes as passenger craft or cargo planes. This plane would be known as the He-111. It was fastest plane around, even faster than some fighters of the Allies. It carried a formitable bombload and while it could be dammaged easily, it would fly with the dammage, making this a reliable speed bomber.

This is an He-111 flying over Germany, this picture was taken in 1935.

The late 1920s brought a black period in Europe. The Russian Empire was under revolution. The citizens were not happy, famine spread across the vast country. They had enough...

March 17th, 1926

It is Vladivostock, the eastern capital of Russia. The air is uneasy. The streets are quiet. Down the street from the capital house, 100 or so men are dressed in military uniform of the new communist appeal. In red the bear the banner. Across every soldiers arm lies one of these...
soviet_old_soviet_union_flag.jpg

At the command the leader fires a gun, at this time the hundred or so men charge the capital building. The guards are taken out by snipers, they fall off the roof, their skulls cracking against the pavement when they land. The soldiers smash open the door. It is shoot first, ask later. Everybody within the building is killed. Blood is sprayed across the walls. Vladamir Kiprusoff is disposed of. Nobody knows who sits in his chair. The only thing known is his last name is Sterlin, Shtelin, Stalin or Stolen. Nobody knows really.
For now the first city under communist rule is Vladivostock. The flag flies high.

January 2nd,1936

The times are quiet. Zimmermann steps up to a table.

Zimmerman-"Okay men, we have waited far too long. You are eager for action, I am eager for expansion. I have talked to a man in Spain whose name is Franco. There is a rumor of a revolution there. So, if that happens we are obliged to aid him in his works."

Man1-"How are we going to help him sir?"

Zimmermann-"Tanks, planes, and men. It is too perfect, we can test our new equipment and train our men there. The leader of the group shall be Erwin Rommel."

Man1-"Why him sir?"

Zimmermann-"Because I said so. Plus, he has lots of knowlege of the terrain...Past buisnesses you know?"

Man1-"I understand sir."

Rommel-"Thank you sir, you will not be dissapointed. I will be taking many notes of the advantages and disadvantages of every piece of new equipment. It is...an evaluation war or something of that sort."

Zimmermann-"Precisely... Oh, by the way...Italy will be helping the Spaniards as well. They have new Mc.200s to test out. They will be covering most of our bombers since we do not have enough Bf109s to cover them yet.
Ah yes, if you didn't know Austria has given us the Sunderland as an agreement between us, we gave them the prototype for the new tanks for it, It worked out nicely I belive."

All at table-"For Germany!"

Vienna

Mussolini-"Im proud to announce that my men are making lots of progress in Ethiopia. I do not think it should take that much longer to take over the country."

Zimmermann-"Well done. We could use a bit more Italian presence in Africa. The allies own most of the continent, and the chances are my colonies would be quickly over run. Keep it up Mussolini."

Mussolini-" Thank you Zimmarmann."

Zimmermann-"Its Zimmermann."

Mussolini-" Ah yes, my apologies. Anyways, my planes are ready should a conflict in Spain arrive. The only thing we have to do is train some pilots, it should take no longer than three months at the most."

Zimmermann-"Exelent."

Zimmermann-"Rommel, my favorite man. I have just recieved acess through France. This is good. You will lead a group of three panzer divisions and two infantry divisions, one with an artillery brigade that containes 18 250mm cannons and 16 75mm cannons. The Spaniards will have no chance."

Rommel-"Very well. Should the war happen, we will travel to southern France and wait for the call. At that time we shall move into Spain and begin the onslaught. I have arranged for bombers to be there two. We do not have many. Three air brigades of He111s and 1 brigade of the new Bf109E-4s. That should be sufficient with the Italian aid."

Zimmermann-"Well done. I should add you have been promoted to Field Marshall. Let me be the first to offer congradulations...Speak not! Lets have a drink!"

Rommel-"Cheers!"

Rommel-"Leutenant Meith, welcome to my office. I have a job for you."

Meith-"It is very nice here. What is the job?"

Rommel-"There is only one beach in Germany in which the allies can land troops, that is in Hamburg. Im assigning three divisions of troops. The beach is incredibly fortified. There are 88mm Anti-Tank cannons spread across the beach as well as some 150mm Wesp cannons for indirect fire. For every pillbox there is one quad AA gun so don't let enemy aircraft bother you. There is also a division of Bf109s in Willemshaven ready to intercept need be."

Meith-"Finnaly, I get to do something. Though...I prefer the allies never invade, we can never be too sure though."

Rommel-"Very true. The defence of Germany is in your hands."

THIS WILL COST THEM!"

Mussolini-"Sir?"

Zimmermann-"The Belgians and the Swiss declined my offer to move troops through their countries...."

China
Once again, the Portugese refuse to give into the Chinese territorial demands. How long will they do this? China is a force to be reckoned with.

I got some awsome pics for the spanish civil war, its really cool.
I went into the play Il2FB. I used I16s attacking He111s and bf109s intercepting them. Got some nice screenies, hope you will enjoy!

July 17th, 1936

Franco-"Okay men, are you ready?"

July 18th, 1936

Zimmerman-"Today the war starts! The facist Spaniards make a fight of revolution!

Mussolini-"My fighters are currently relocating to Spain. A quick flight and they shall be there!"

July 19th. 1936

German troops lead by Rommel currently await orders in Tabres. They soon move into the foreign lands of Spain. Fierce, but one sided fighting awaits them.

Rommel-"Okay men, time to strut our stuff! Lets move in!"

The Spanish Civil War

The war is extremely one sided untill the Soviets decided to bump in. The air war was fierce. The German Bf109s were far superior to anything to Soviets could field, however the Soviet I-16 was much more maneuverable than the 109.

Mussolini-"Etheopia lasts no more. My troops have finnaly overun the country. No more militias stand in our way. We now have a real african province to run operations out of."

Zimmermann-"Exelent, keep up the good work. Make sure you keep troops stationed there, however, their moral must be kept high."

Mussolini-"Do not worry about that. They will be kept happy with classic Italian meals."

Zimmermann-"Speaking of that, mind making me a spaghetti dinner?"

Mussolini-"Normally I would be tempted to hurt you with a comment like that, but I love to cook and so you shall have the best meal of your life!"

September 30th, 1936

The German navy is going to rapid progress. Prototypes for improved battleships are finnaly finished. However, Zimmermann chooses not to start any ships. Work continues to advanced battleships. The British fleet outnumbers the German one like night and day, however, the Italians rule the seas in the Mediterranean.

September

A rather quiet month it is important. Zimmermann is trying very hard to get acess in many diffrent countries. Most importantly, Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire. Zimmermann and Petar of Bulgaria hit it off quite fast. They seem to be great friends. Finnally on the 30th of September a pact is signed.

German-Bulgaria Protection Pact

This agreement decides that in case of any trouble, each country shall be willing to aid the other shall anything happen.

Germany gains *Full Military Acess* through Bulgaria
Germany agrees to protect Bulgaria under any circumstances

Signed;

J.Zimmermann

While everything went well in Bulgaria the Ottomans were not so willing. An extremely old empire they are not what they used to be and are very suspicious of everyone. Zimmermann, usually a charmer fails to get military acess through the Ottoman Empire. Though as furious as Zimmermann was it is not the last time he will try.
