I promised to create a separate post about this. So, I got my hands on an E3 map and was asked to transfer a couple of provinces. In the end, I couldn’t stop and translated the entire map into Russian. The names in Russian correspond to the world of 1914. There are no Soviet names. I added a topo layer and it turned out very nicely. I tried to align it more accurately with the rivers and coastlines. I liked the result. There is only one problem - there are no playable mods for it. Delving deeper into the world map, I would like to note that I do not know whether this map is original or a modified version. Be that as it may, one new province was added (Solovetsky Islands) (the problem with Duck Lagoon has been resolved, but it is from the Province game file side).
I would also like to point out one problem:
- Layer 3 Caucasus and Central Europe - you can see a small piece of the border. I haven’t found a solution yet (and haven’t tried to be honest, I need to look at the borders).
- You can see the border lines of colorscales on layers 2, 3, 4. And some image artifacts
- ID map file - I can’t find a good way to do this.
Unfortunately, I can’t tell you about working mods for this map. There is one Russian one, but it’s unfinished, I don’t know anymore.
Let's move on to technical information:
Use programs: MapUtility 1.2.5b, CorelDraw 22, Corel PhotoPaint 22, ArcGIS 10.8.2.
Use fonts: a_OldTyperNr Regular (16) 16 is the main size, it can be reduced to 8-9

Added a link to the ID map. The backing is in Russian. There is a .cdr file in the folder where you can change it. Unfortunately, I do not have the original background in English. Everything is done manually, which means errors are possible.
