It was mentioned in the stream that modders could get in touch to ask about getting earlier access to the game to start modding earlier. As a modder, this idea appeals to me a lot. Who should we ask about this?

I'm interested in that too. I also wonder what the requirements are to be recognized as a valid modder.

I'm not the most experienced one around probably, but I still would consider myself a veteran modder by now, and would like to get a glimpse on what can be done with CK3.

I'm assuming that this is for people that PDS already knows within the modding community. People like the Game of Thrones team would qualify. You and I? Probably not.

If anyone here with experience is planing a ck3 mod and wants help from an artist you could message me. Am interested in helping out (if the mod idea is appealing).
Last year padarox made a call so people could declare the intention to participate in ck3 early access, or alpha/beta if you will. One of the options was to declare the intention to mod the game. So, I think that wave will be able access and mod first. So more people just after that, I would guess.

The first wave of beta invites have indeed gone out now, in December.
We may contact more of those who applied to the closed beta at a later date with further beta waves; No guarantees.
If we need more beta testers & modders, rest assured that you will hear from us!

Thanks for this information. I feel disappointed at not being selected, though I suppose it isn't really surprising as my mod isn't public and so I don't have an obvious body of work to point to as evidence. I don't make flashy meme videos on YouTube either.Hello there!

I did offer to convert Snow Crystal's 936 scenario to CK III (either within the beta or as a mod available at release) but no one replied to me on this, which is a shame. Hopefully that means the devs are working on an official 936 scenario and not just ignoring me.
Good luck with everything and I hope the people you selected will make the game as good as it can be. I wish I had been among them.
