So I've got around 400 hrs into the base CK2 game, & all the DLC.

I just downloaded GoT mod however, & want to get into it. I would rather not start as a king right away, but rather a vassal of someone. Preferably in the Clash of Kings start, where the books start off at.

Anyone know a nice easy vassal of someone in that start, thats fairly easy, where I can just play & learn the mechanics of this mod without getting my ass beat? I read through the interesting characters thread, but they are "interesting" & not necessarily easy.

House Baelish in AFFC is easy - just use your godlike intrigue to kill off people to start a Great Council and in the meantime wait for the king to win the war for the Riverlands for you.
Tyrells in ACOK are possibly the easiest you can get.

Hmmm Baelish sounds very interesting. I like the sneaky game. I'll probably start with that one. Thanks a lot. :D

As far as top-tier houses with great starts in the first few start dates, House Tyrell would likely give you the smoothest ride. The Reach is the largest and most prosperous kingdom in Westeros, the Westerlands be dammed, and your family, especially the main branch, is filled with competent people. In addition, nearly every kingdom has a house or two that tends to be rebellious; in your case, the Florents, your default 'antagonist' vassal, has a crappy keep and starting position, and don't tend to create powerful factions against you.

Thanks for the Advise as I am new myself to the GOT Mod. I thought making a custom house would be good.. but it is a lot harder than it looks.

Will try out House Tyrell when I next play ( which will be tommrow )
