Economy changed between reloads

Playing MP with 1.03 the following occurs;
When we load the game again after taking a break my friends economy is totally changed...instead of having a lot of cash he is now in debt... As I recall it doesn´t happen every time but once in a while. I can assure you that he doesn´t like it...

I have the same experience... Its strange... like my computer and the computer of my multiplayer buddy do different calculations...
How can this be...?
