How exactly is this done? I'm trying to play a game with China on 1419/Vanilla, and I'm dreading the inevitable revolt events in the 1600's. I would just prefer to edit these out for a WC with China. If anyone has any links or anything explaining how to edit event files, that would be great. :)

Open the China event file in db\events major_CHI.
In there you find all the countries events and you just need to search/look for the events you want to edit and then remove them OR edit out the RR if you still want to read the events and learn some history or w/e... :)

Hope you understand... -.-

Well as anubisfike said, open db\events\major_CHI using the note pad, scroll down to the event you want to edit, and well... edit. You can either remove the event completely or just remove bits and pieces. If you would like to read something about editing events, there should be a word -file in the EU2 folder.

If there's anything else you'd like to know, don't hesitate to ask!

Easiest way is to just delete the bad events although if you are interested in editing the events then without a doubt the place to refer to is Havard's Bible of Event Scripting.
