I've been playing Battletech Extended 3025: Commander's Edition recently; it's working fine, except I'm having trouble with the timeline for repairs and refits. Any mechlab work is now taking hundreds of days, rather than a week or so. I'm aware of the community SAV editor, and it's nice, but it doesn't have this feature. Has anyone identified where these R&R timers exist in the SAV? Can they be edited manually?

You didn't follow directions. BEX doesn't work with vanilla savegames, you have to start a new one. The problem is the base tech points given at the start of the game. BEX multiplys all tech points by 1000. So you're missing 2997 tech points you ought to have but don't, which is why things take so long.

Actually, I did.

I started a new campaign, and it is running just fine.

However, I tried to see if a vanilla SAV would even load. Well...it does, and it's very playable...with the exception of this flaw.

Indirectly, you gave me the answer I needed, for which I thank you. Unfortunately, the community SAV editor doesn't have this feature, but if I can find a way to edit the tech points, then I can make a vanilla SAV fully playable.

No there is no way to realistically hand edit a save file. The save editor is the only game in town that can. Although pretty sure you can added tech points with it which may fix the issue

My bad...I should have clarified that I was trying to run Battletech Extended 3025: Commander's Edition with a previous SAV. It's a VERY good mod, stable, and well worth trying. I'll have to check the editor again for the full options. Thanks again.
