Just wondering if theres a tool available to edit save games? Right now they're encrypted, using notepad++ won't work. Just wanted to edit money and research efficiency, if possible

There are cheats at Supremewiki which will discover new techs and add money, respectively. No need for save editing.
yeah but you can't turn off the research cheat. I'd rather have an editor anyways, it makes it much easier.
Also some of the cheats don't work and or apply to AI's. I wanted to edit population and force specific countries to go to war. The research cheat for me just freezes what ever I research. Also for moding files seems very difficult as nothing is labeled.
