Editing?

Hi,

I would like to make my own scenarios and edit maps.
I have allready figured out some id Numbers of provinces but that is a bit weary and slow switching back and forth between the game and file to check if it works (I try to find it out by editing the religion of a province and then look on that map which province changed and thus being able to establish the id).

So my wuestion:
Is there a info or txt-file where I can find this data?
Also with maybe a explaination of how to edit the map, giving certain provinces to other nations, building citys, adding population, forts ect.

I don't know if there is any txt file, but there is one far better possibility: if you edit your save file (*.eug), you will see that in the nation stats part, all provinces have their id and also the name of the city in that province. So, this is how you can change city names, populations, and ownerships. Also, it's very easy to edit a currently existing army, treasury or inflation. Just write the numbers of soldiers or lower the inflation to 0.000000 and here it goes...

thanks for the help - but that is not what I was asking for.
I already am editing my saved files. I figured that out already.

I wanted to know if there is a "list" or a "instruction file" which someone else figured out already, ehere it is described HOW you edit.
Im having problems finding the citys in rhe saved-file. At the begining it just shows a list with id-numbers. Is there a list where I can look up - lets say "Krakow" and it tells me "299".

And most important HOW do you add a province to your empire. Lets say, Lorraine or Tyrol to Prussia?

That you have to edit your saved-game I figured out allready. Now I just need the knowledge and support so I can go to work on it!

Province.Csv in the db folder contains a province list.

Well, when you fihure out the name of the province you want to add, it's very simple. Just find the entry

country
tag=POL (for example, this means the name of the country)

then scroll down a bit until you find two entries:

owned provinces = (and a lot of numbers)
controlled provinces = (and also a lot of numbers)

add the number of the province needed to these lines and here it goes. Load the game and only prepare to press reset

Any way to add nations with new flags...?

Sorry can any one tell me how to create a new nation with its own new shields, flags. I have no problem if to change the original ones, but
feel like trying adding new flags instead of replacing original ones.
How can the new nation link to the new flag and shields?

But if we all help and everybody figured out some id it wouldn't be slow
