Editor Fails To Work - Please Help

Check to see if you have two editors in the folder. You may have an NewEditor or some such. One of the patches included the wrong version of the editor.

You may also find that 1.06B helps.

Or you can edit in the Files directly with Wordpad like most modders do, since it is so easy.

It was my understanding that no one used the Editor anyway since it is easier to edit the files in a text editor.

The thing is the files are not in hex, they are in plain ascii text. just like we are using here.

THere is a faster way for you to find out than posting here waiting for a reply.

Try installing fresh from the CD then 1.06, then 1.06C.

You using any mods?

Do you have 16BIT color set?
Do you have normal size fonts selected?

I would have to say the editor is Working as Designed.
