Every time I have a kid they seem to get the worst traits. Does anybody know what affects a character education?

in general, children with already high stats in one direction get better education if you train them in that way... so high martial stat kids should be sent to the army, high stewardship ones should be sent to the court...
also, if the parents have great education results, their kids are more likely to get them.
also, the school buildings in your home province do add something to your results..
