Hi again.

I have noticed that all nations' armies is now led by custom leaders named like the nation. So irish armies is led by "Eire", The Caliphate's by "Abbasid" and so on. Now I'm sure that there's valid reasons for this, but what are these?

That would be a lack of EIR tagged names in the Random Leader file

Ditto Caliphate.

I'll get some more names in there. Thanks.

Dunno what's the problem. I noticed it for Swabia and Cordoba too, but it doesn't make sense in Swabia's case as SWA is pointed to HEI names in country.csv, and there's quite a bit of HEI names yet it shows up ingame as "Swabia".

Scotland too, as well as Bavaria. I thought every country has this problem.

I personally don't mind. I don't see it as a "problem". In my mind all of the 'generic' leader names that are shuffled around anyways don't add that much flavour, unless I decide to do some intense RP with my game.. but still in that case I can just make up names.

Very true.

I like that the Interregnum random names are more culturally accurate and diverse, but you are right that this is hardly a bug, in that it doesn't alter game performance one iota.

That said, I have foundthe bug. I had inadvertantly placed two entries on one line very early on, causing it to not read the file beyond that point.

So, do you think Foucault is right?
