Summary
Ejected from kingdom by inheritance in another kingdomDescription
I was Count of Anjou in France. My brother in Kingdom of Jerusalem abdicated his title of Duke of Oultrejourdain for reasons unclear to me.When I inherited it -- with no option to decline -- I was instantly and automatically ejected from the Kingdom of France into Jerusalem. My war for a county was ended inconclusively. And I suddenly had land across the Med from where I was playing. Land I did not want.
I tried to pass it off to some schmuck but was told I couldn't ditch my brand new "primary title" or give my vassal independence. I also can't destroy the title, and I'm not strong enough to press my claim against the Kingdom of Jerusalem.
I have some pretty strenuous exclave rules on but I'm pretty sure that will just hose me and lose me all my land in France on inheritance. Yay?
And since I'm playing on ironman I have no way to use the console to unfork the situation.
This has ruined my run due to an entirely game-y outcome that IMO qualifies as a bug. If I'm going to be transferred wholecloth into another kingdom by an inheritance I should be given the option to pass on it and transfer that land and title to the crown or the next person in line of succession or something. It's more than a little bizarre that I get a popup about whether I want to continue my war after I get yeeted into another kingdom, but not a popup about whether I want to be yeeted into that kingdom in the first place.
Steps to reproduce
Have an absolute jackanapes for a brother in Jerusalem or another Kingdom. Have land in another kingdom. Force him to abdicate with the console. Watch as insanity occurs.Game Version
