I've got 300 machine parts but none will go to the elevator, I have the blue print and the metals and concrete all collected but it never gets completed. Second time I had 62/64 concrete material but it never completed. Here I had over 1,000 concrete units available. Got drones but they never complete the elevator. The elevator just will not complete, materials in supply, drome galore but nothing.

have you tried to manually task the drones to build it? is the elevator fully blocked in so drones can't reach? take a picture, we may be able to see the problem. Or your game is bugged. Since the new releases I do find some annoying bugs that stop me playing the game. for instance I found some of my drones at the edge of the map that is out of bounds somehow.
Yes, I’ve manually tasked the drones to no avail. I get a message that there are too many drones assigned but they avoid the elevator. The elevator isn’t blocked, there isn’t anything around it. I haven’t constructed any power so that isn’t the issue. Any it is away from other large construction.
I deleted the save, it was too frustrating. It’s happened twice on different saves/games. I’ve reinstalled the game but haven’t gone back.
I constructed the Elevator multiple times without problems.
If your game is not broken, it should work the common rule. That's it, you need a depot with the resources for the construction, the elevator, and a drone controller (drone hub, rocket, rover commander, etc.) with drones linked to the drone controller all in the area of the controller.
So, according with the priorities, the drones should do the works, and if you have drones without a higher priority task, and resources available, they should get that work and add resources.
My hypothesis is that, although you have resources, they aren't in the range of your drone controller, or your drone controller has no drones under his command, or the controller is off for some reason (maintenance, electricity, some event, etc.)
Of course, a bug is always possible, but construct a building is a very common thing I doubt it only occur with the underground elevator.

I have had two such things happen during my campagin now, with "the last war", my main elevator got nuked, and I tried build a second, both failed on construction, carrying 20 concrede to finish them too 100 sol's and most drones would just move up to depo, lift something, and drop it. the "main" elevator ended up being rebuildt from below by a RC drone commander vehicle with resources from below, after clearing rubble...
