Short summary of your issue Game believes I am still at war with opposing gangs after a truce has been declared, and opposing gang’s opinions of the player cannot be raised above -500
Game Version
1.04.0.41148
What platform are you using?
Xbox One
What OS are you playing on?
Console
Do you have mods enabled?
No
Have you tried verifying your game files (Steam only)?
No
Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
When playing as Alphosone Capone, I experienced a bug where the game believed that I was still at war with any opposing gang I had previously been at war with, despite having declared a truce, preventing actions such as ‘buy out’ from being preformed. Furthermore, said gangs opinion of the player character cannot be raised above -500, although actions that would raise it can be preformed, these have no affect on their opinion
Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Engaging in a war against a gang (or multiple at once) and then engaging in a truce should replicate this problem, although it may only work while playing as the outfit or may be due to quick resume on Xbox consoles.
How much "pain" is this causing you?
8
Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
Effects of this bug
Despite not being hostile towards the player or exhibiting any war-specific behaviors, the game still treats diplomacy actions as if the player is still at war with an enemy gang. This seems to apply to all gangs (although in the playthrough I had engaged in war with every gang at least once). This locks out certain actions such as trade, buy out, and business arrangments. War can be engaged in again but I do not believe this fixes the bug.
