empty autosave

I've got on VV a ctd in march 26. As I've many CTD, I've setted up autosave on yearly.
Coming back to the game to load the autosave, I've now the surprise seeing that there's strictly nothing saved anymore. There's an "autosave" and an "oldautosave" file, but both of them is 0 ko file, and show an empty map, with a rebel flag siding the save.
I've lost 13 years playing, and a victorious war against Carthage, but more than that I can't be sure about the autosave while playing.

Please run DXDIAG, Save All Info, and post dxdiag.txt here (first delete everything after the Sound Devices section so it will fit). Also post your Rome/settings.txt and Rome/logs/system.log files. Note that if you use Vista and have installed the game in the suggested folder c:\Program Files\Paradox Interactive\Rome\, the active versions of these last two files will have been redirected by Vista to a non-system directory, like c:\users\[name]\appdata\local\virtualstore\Program Files\Paradox Interactive\Rome\. You may have to search your C: drive for them.
