Endless game?

Hey, im trying to change the end date for the 1837 scenario and i was wondering what exactly do i change in the file to make it end much later? I tryed opening it in notepad and changing wherever it says enddate, but it doesnt work.

There are a few mods that change the time limit in the game. I found one here, but I'm not sure if it's working.

yeah i already tryed those. i was hoping to do it manually since those dont work for me.

forgot to note, in my save game, it also says that it should end in the year 2000, but it always ends in 1936
