In the 1444 start the Danish pretender, Eric of Pomerania, should probably have the 'Gryf' or von Greifen dynasty that Pomerania has instead of the 'of Pomerania' dynasty. While his victory may be somewhat unlikely, in the case that he succeeds, it would be good to have the correct dynasty. As it currently stands, it's the equivalent of giving the starting king, Christopher III, the 'of Bavaria' dynasty instead of von Wittelsbach.

And on the subject of Denmark and Eric of Pomerania, it would be interesting to have some events about the rebellion at the start, possibly one giving the player or AI a few options regarding his exile, maybe generating him as an heir for Pomerania should he survive if or when the rebellion is put down (as historically happened).

To add, the dynasty really should probably be called von Greifen at this point in history. The Pomeranians were pretty thoroughly Germanzied by the 15th century (as their culture group reflects), so the Slavic variant of the name doesn't entirely fit.

Too bad that he even if he would win he would become Eric VIII instead of Eric VII and he exile_ruler_as doesn't work with history files, so the only way to fix it would be making Eric VII the starting monarch and make day one event that exiles him, replaces him with Christopher III, give pretender_rebel.txt if-value that if Eric VII wins returns with set_ruler_as instead of simply define_ruler.

EU4's 1444 is full of anachronism there are more concerning historic accuracy issues than the matter of Gotland, why bother with Eric VII when there are more concerning issues?

Who cares about Byzantium? Who cares about Supply Lines? Your logic is irrelevant. I could say the same about anything in this game...

I wasn't talking about Byzantium why was I? Do you really calling Empire of the Romans Byzantium is only anachronism in the game? It doesn't bother me because it is just a localization that can be changed with a mod that doesn't even change the checkum. What bothers are things that effect the gameplay such as having unified Austria and Bavaria, Castile, over simplified Ireland.

Apples and oranges.

There are a lot of things that are seemingly more than anything quality of life issues. Yes, Castile was a personal union of Castile and Leon at the start, and sure Austria was a personal union of Austria and Styria, but with both of those things it makes it a great deal more difficult for the player or the AI to accomplish many of the things that were historically done.

Small fixes to the dynasties of notable historical people do not take much work, so those are the things that can be and often are fixed quickly and easily by Paradox.
