hello,
Before I sent this message I read the topics on the techsupport and tried: to uninstall properly and reinstall in a other destination, I download the appropriate Directx.9, download the d3dx_41.dll that I installed myself and I have allways the same crash at the running of the game:
Error. Failed to crash a graphics device. Exiting.
Don't know what to do next...

here is my dxdiag.txt

It could be your video chipset can't run this game. But sadly, you've cut off that file just before the bit we need. All of it down to and including "Sound Devices" please.

Also post your Rome/settings.txt and Rome/logs/system.log files.

Sorry, I am sending the dxdiag and I try to find the other docs.
thanks a lot

So there's a pretty clear Windows/video driver problem. As a start look for a new video driver, yours is over 3 years old. Also edit your settings.txt file and change refreshRate=60 .

I did the edition of the settings.txt
But for my windows/c=video driver, i didn't find any driver... I went to the Intel website company for example.
Do you know where I can find the good driver (if there are available.)
Thanks for your help !

My laptop has an NVIDIA chip so I can't check out Intel's web site thoroughly enough to give you a 100% correct answer.. but..
Check this link: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect/graphics
Supposedly, it should detect your GMA version and suggest you an update for your system, so try it :)
