Error- failed to initialize clock.

Everytime, even on vanilla version of HOI 2 it tells me there is a fatal error (above) and the game will not load.

This is a recent problem and was wondering if any of you fine fellows could help me.

Did you install the no timelimit mod or windowing mod?
What mods did you install?
Because it sounds like a system problem or a mod interaction problem.
