I am trying to import an asset (building) into the game but an error message keeps showing up. The formats I use are .fbx for the model and .png for the diffuse/illumination/specular textures. Please Help i have some really nice looking buildings I wanna put on the workshop. The file names should be named correct and are located in the right folder (C:\AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Addons\Import).

What RGB color mode is the textures saved in? Make sure it's 8bit and not 16 or 32.

It's also worth noting that transparency isn't supported for the textures. I noticed your textures have transparent areas and a lot of empty space. I recommend overlapping some UV islands that are identical as well as grouping similar colors much closer so you don't have so much empty space. 4k resolution for a texture for Cities: Skylines is VERY large. You could likely achieve a similar texture quality for a lower resolution with the UVs more efficiently spaced. :)
