hi, I copied my armageddon and named it different to use it for a new mod..so I want to hold both vanilla game and modded game..I put the new folder in paradox folder in program files..but when I open the game from my copied armageddon folder(not installed the mod yet) the game gives an error message saying;

CRITICAL ERROR

--Scenario files has error--

I say ignore, game opens and it seems as if there is not difference at first glance..but I don't understand why full copy of the arma folder gives such an error while arma folder doesn't give any error..I copied everything and tried three times..I think to start a new game I don't want this error to be trouble for me after playing 5 years..

Are you running Windows Vista?
Does the error message give any further detail?

I've never had a problem running the game from a copied folder (but I also never install games in Program Files, even in older versions of Windows).
