When saving a game, manually or auto save, I am receiving this message followed by other error messages:

The thing is I can open and play a saved game and usually get about 10 minutes or so into a game and save it. I use auto save as well because you have to given how the game is prone to crashing. But I will inevitably end up receiving this message and the game will not save. It wont crash but I am forced to quit because there is no point continuing because I cant save the game.
You are not using any mods?

Same mods,

ExtraAssetsImporter, Asset Packs Manager, Extra Networks and Areas, I18n Everywhere, Extra Detailing Tools, Extra Landscaping Tools, ExtraLib, Better Bulldozer, Map Texture Replacer, Plot the Growables, Anarchy, Unified Icon library, Asset Icon Library, MoveIt, RoadBuilder

I did not encounter any problems installing these mods. I did not install mods that were warned that they were not compatible with the new update.
Then please disable all mods and see if the issue still occurs. If it doesn't occur without mods, it's not a game issue, but a mod issue.

Yes, I did not encounter this error when mods were disabled. But as I mentioned in my previous message, I did not use mods that were warned that there would be compatibility issues with the new update. Does the new update prohibit the use all of mods?
It doesn't prohibit mods, but only because the mods are shown to support the new version, doesn't mean they don't cause issues. The modders can decide which version is supported by the mod, and mod combinations can always cause issues. If the issue is not happening in an unmodded game, we cannot help you here in the forums. The issue is then mod-related and has too many variables for the developers to find a fix for, most likely the base game isn't even responsible. Hope that clears it up!

Thanks for the answer. I started looking for a solution here because I thought Paradox mods were part of the game. According to what you said, Paradox cannot help us with the add-ons and support it provides. This is interesting, because we download the mods we have problems with from the platform Paradox provides us. However, thank you again for the quick and clear answers. I hope the update problem between the game codecs, Paradox and the mod codecs will be resolved quickly.

Last question, I uninstalled the game from my computer and reinstalled it, I lost my save files in the process. I can access the backup file, but I couldn't figure out how to introduce it to the program. Can you help?
Uninstalling the game doesn't delete any mods, settings or saves. All the userdata is stored in C:\Users\%username%\AppData\LocalLow\Colossal Order\Cities Skylines II, so you only lose your saves when deleting that folder. If you want to restore a save from your backup, move the according .cok file (along with it's .cok.cid file) to the Saves folder in the Cities Skylines II folder of your user directory.

Please note that reinstalling the game doesn't solve any mod issues or corrupt files. Deleting or moving the user folder can help with these issues ,but if you move the whole folder back to the original location it is likely that your issues will be back. That's why we recommend to only move the save file you actually need one by one, and if there is an issue, it's likely related to that save.

Yeah, that one is the corrupted one I talked about and attached to the start of this thread. Unluckily autosave triggered a short moment after and got corrupted as well. So I have got no non-corrupted file of that city.

Would be 10/10 if there was a way to repair that save file.

Will resend it anyway
Sorry, there is no actual save game data in that file. The data is missing. We can't do anything t o recover, if you have no backups.

Source? Because no, it is not caused by Anarchy. As I've said, I've gone as far as deleting ALL CS2-related data from my system (yes, also appdata and temp files; including mod-files) and reinstalled CS2 on a completely different drive, yet I still get the error on a FRESH MAP and WITHOUT ANY MODS.

So please stop spreading misinformation... you're only delaying a potential fix for the issue even more.
If you still get that issue, please create a separate bug report. Make sure that your mods didn't download automatically (only possible by starting with --disableModding), because even if you delete everything, the mods will be downloaded right away when you start the game.
