Error on startup

Was watching Kai on stream starting it up and he atleast has a picture on the "pre launch game" i dont, what am i doing wrong? Error comes after pressing "Start CK2" Sound runs just fine but error and no picture...All my other games runs fine


Looks like me and Killer Penguinz have the same problem
since i have radeon HD4600 also.




Oh and i have hdmi conected to a plasma tv and a vga to this monitor

Sorry, what error message are you seeing where? I don't see any message in your post or screenshot.

The blank display there would normally mean a video driver problem, a bad download/installation, or a .NET problem. Your video driver is fairly recent so i doubt that's your problem. I'd start by visiting the Windows Update site and let it update all your .NET components.

Then I'd do a full clean reinstall. If this is Steam: uninstall the game from Steam and move any valued save games elsewhere. Manually delete the CK2 directories from under the Steam AND MyDocuments folders, now reinstall the game via Steam.

If GamersGate: Move valued save games elsewhere, and uninstall the game. Manually delete the CK2 directories from where GG put them and from MyDocuments. Reinstall the game , download 1.05g patch again and apply it.

Okey, i did an update too the grafic card, and too my suprize it worked!
The problem lies in the conection with the hdmi cable, when i dont have it cloned the game runs fine.
Hdmi cable is still conected that is, just not cloned
Hope this helps someone ells with this problem :happy:
