Error, username

Desired username is invalid due to containing characters not supported by the wiki software.​

I keep getting this error when trying to log in to the Wiki. I had previously logged in fine and made edits on the STA Wiki, but then it stopped letting me log in and had to change my password and it's like I had to make a whole new account with the same email. I had to do the email verification again. And the edits I made don't show up in my account. It's weird.​

But, coming to this website and logging in went fine, except that it prompted me to create a Username. "Ok cool, this was the problem, why didn't I ever get this prompt before?"​

But going back to the wiki, I'm still getting this error. My username was accepted without issue and no special chars. ​

Edit. Ok this is weird. After putting in my username and making this post, page refresh changed my Username to I guess my 'original' except it's not what I would have made. Pretty sure I didn't add the " .<" and if it was invalid how did it go thru. ​

and even though I just changed it, it reverted back to this " RufiO.< ". ​

How do I change it again?

If you hit "report" on your own post here to get this post deleted , AND lodge a support ticket at paradox.zendesk.com to get the user name changed, that should work okay.

We don't have much to do with the wiki, but your symptoms sound exactly like you have two Paradox accounts. They must have different emails, but maybe one is your real email and the other has a typo, something like that?
