Error when loading

Hello I bought the game installed it and when I click the Icon to play I get:

c:\programfiles\aodgame.exe is not a valid win32 application.

What did I do wrong.

I ran into this before, your aodgame.exe is corrupt some how, replace it or reinstall aod and it should fix, remember after reinstall to reinstall ic. if that dont work and your using vista or 7 run it as admin, may fix it also. if neither one of those options work reply to this and I will do some more research into it.

Ok I uninstalled and reinstalled. I re-d/l game and made sure it installed all the requred files for Iron Cross. I even tried running as admin. No luck, same error message. Do I need to install HOI II ARMA first? I wouldnt think so, as the 650mb IC file I D/L says it installes AOD and all required files to get IC to work. Im stumped. Please help.

And yes I am running Vista.

you installed IC over AoD or HOI2 Armageddon... right? it's not a stand-alone game.

You either have to have hoi 2 arm installed first or AOD installed first since it uses game files in this to work.
