EU 2 for Vista?

Hey everyone!
I've had this game since around 2003 or so, and it's my all-time favourite!
However, I've gotten a new laptop with Windows Vista on it, and the game doesn't function on that OP!
Do you know if there's a version of it out there that might support Vista? I thought I found something on amazon, but it ended up supporting all the way till XP, but not Vista!

It should work. Check the tech support forum. There are some Vista threads there.

One thing i know is that you should not install it under "program files".

Worked for me in Vista, now 7, no problems.

But yeah, dont install in the program files.

Well, it totally blocks my laptop, so I cannot really do anything. I had to take out my battery for my computer to respond. Maybe the CD's gone bad..it's been 6 years, after all. Hmm..

Hm, i recall i had problems with vista too, when i installed it...but i just can't remember what what was the problem sorry bout that.
To make it even worse, my Eu2 works in my program files again, terribly sorry.

But yeah, you definitely look up one of those older threads, im sure its in there.

I'm running it on 64 Bit Vista from Program Files. Sometimes I have to start it 2 or 3 times before it "takes", but other than that it works pretty well.

Try right clicking the shortcut, and under the compatability tab run the game under Windows XP (Service Pack 2). That did the trick for me.
