Help? :(
The box definitely said that WinNT supported EU, but I am getting nothing but a black screen. I try and run the AVI videos just off the CD and it crashes my machine.

DirectX8.0 is on the CD, not 7.0 as the manual suggests. v8 is definitely NOT supported by NT (hey, DX told me so).

I just have ONE question... in multiple parts:
(a) IS EU supported by NT4.0? (If not, then someone ought to be having a little talk with whoever markets in the US -- then again, I bought it here in Australia.)
(b) If so, then what do I have to do to get it to work
(c) Wasn't there a whole support topic devoted to NT a couple of months ago? Wheresit gone?
(d) How many patches should I be installing until I avoid all the initial problems but avoid any incompatabilities with NT4?

PS; According to the MS site, DirectX 3.0a is the highest version that NT4 supports and even then you must have SP6 installed??

One might infer from your post that you don't
have SP6 installed. What level of SP are you
at, anyway? If you've never updated, or are
only at SP2 or so, I'm not surprised that you're
having problems with DirectX, etc. I'd strongly
suggest installing SP6 before you despair completely.

My EU platform is a Win2K (a.k.a. NT 5) box, and
it works fine, so there's nothing inherent in the
NT software architecture that should keep you from
running.
