I figured I'd update this in case someone dusted off these games and decided to play them again - because I just started playing this month.
There are a TON of event codes. I've uncovered +100 and added them to a list I saw on another site. The author is anonymous, so no credit given. I'm sure there hundreds more. Basically, take any event code you see in the - i.e. 2700, and start off with 2701, then 2702 through 2710. Some are good, some are bad and some are both (take away 1 good thing to give to another). If you see a code like 3143, then I'd try 3140-3149 etc. Round up or down to the next zero and attempt the whole deca (10).
What I have noticed is that 2700 does not work in Vae Victis. I get it to work just fine in EU Rome 1.3 or less. Other codes change a bit in Vae Victis but for the most part they work as described. I did also notice that code 7000 gives 1000 men in Vae Victis, which is FAR better than the measly 100 it gave in EU Rome 1.3. Anyways, I wish 2700 worked in Vae Victis because its a recruitment speed stack where you can raise troops very quickly. oh well.
I have not personally tried any event numbered < 2506 so ymmv. Also, I have only tried 2 codes from 4000-6999 and no attempts past 7010. OI
