EU UK update 1:08

Has update 1.08 (UK) been amended to include a fix for the save-game crashes in Age of Revolution and the bug in the counter that makes Japan close it's doors to trade and cause a sreeching sound over the game? If not, is it likely to or has anyone suggestions for permanent resolutions?

For those who have read the above before, I have reposted this as there was no response last time!

The sound/Japan problem is not fixed in 1.08. It was discovered after 1.08 was finished.

Many thanks for your reply: I'll play Settlers IV (plays straight out of the box, no crashes, no irritating noises) until the fix is forthcomming.
