EU2 MP in Australia

Hi, I'm new to this forum and EU2 but I'm really keen to play some multiplayer, but I only have a 56k modem and live in Australia.

I assume my connection will be too slow to play over valkyrienet???

Is there anyone in Australia who has EU2? and wants to play over the net? or at a lan (in Brisbane)?

I can't LAN with you but we could try getting a game started, email me at reaver@mooh.org, I've edited some of my files, espcially the AI ones, will that cause problems with MP compatibility?
I also have some other pborlms that are realted with MP, but we can always try.

I played a little with just a 56K modem and it was fine. I'd be interested to play a game with you, also, as I am on the US West coast and the time difference should not be too much of a burden.

I would, except 1/ I only have a beta copy and 2/ I have a problem with getting on to Valkyrienet !

I actually think 1/ is OK, that they can mix-n-match, but I just cannot get onto VKN, I get an error everytime, so I'd have to play with someone as host.

Another West Coaster

I'm on the West Coast of the US, and I'm also interested in giving some MP a go. I just checked Vnet, but no one but myself was there in the valid channel.

Anyone who wants to try playing some MP just let me know!
I'm available most evenings after 7ish PST.

I'm not quite sure the proper time conversion to AEST, but I'm thinking 7pm your time is about lunchtime the next day for me, which should be okay.
