EU2 startup problem

Hey all, been awhile,

I recently reformatted my HD's and went to reinstall EU2 the other day, and update it, I did, and I started it up and it ran fine....but since then, everytime I startup the game, after the Stratagy First screen loads, it tries to kick itself back to the desktop, and when it gets to the Loading screen before the main menu, it minimizes itself, and takes liek 5 or 6 tries to get it maximized, and then everything's squished together.........It's still playable, but it's very annoying....

Is there anyway to fix this.............. I use the Latest REAL updates, no Betas, and I've never had this happen before..........

Try renaming the folder avi to av. It might do the trick

nope, I Did that and now it minimizes itself as soon as I double click on the Icon to start it, and it won't Maximize...

Try matching your desktop resolution to the game resolution....also if your color qualtiy is set on 32bit try lowering it to 16bit.

You may also try and adjust the size of your fonts.
