Hi!
So I am on Linux, Fedora 40 and I did not have any problems for tens of hours or more. Now recently I was playing a campaign and I noticed that my spacebar no longer paused the game. So I was like what's up with that? I found a fix to add this to shortcuts.txt.
It worked for a bit. But now when I started loading my campaign or starting a new one, I noticed this entry disappears as soon as the save is loaded. This is so frustrating and I don't understand why it keeps happening. Like I mentioned I've probably played 20-30 hours fine with no problems... And the most mysterious part is that why is this not entry in my shortcuts.txt to begin with? It doesn't even appear when I reset the keybinds in-game and launch the save up again...
Mentioning this just in case, because of the replies I saw before: Yes my spacebar is actually working, not my OS issue.
Edit: Okay seems verifying intergrity of files seemed to fix this

speed_controls = {
"button_pause"="SPACE"
