Eu4 lock my conputer

How can I start the game? I tried nakama crossplay,steam multiplayer and eu4 options but mostly, the game lock my computer. Even I use alt+f4 and ctrl+alt+delete,the game don’t closed. And even task manager open, I can’t click it.

Yes, I bought on Steam.

Eu4 should not be able to lock up your computer no matter what it does(killing via task manager should always be possible), as long as it doesn't run with admin privileges. So you have some kind of driver or hardware problem. Some nvidia cards have such a problem. In that case it usually helps to change the display mode to borderless fullscreen in the launcher

I am using gtx 1070. Sometimes I encounter this problem, I can run the game when I try last two times. And I will try your suggestion, thanks.
