EUG file?

I downloaded no time patch v1.2 from the site and did everything it told me to. I am trying to play past 1948, but it says I need to change,

"In the globaldata part of scenario (EUG file) change entry enddate (e.g. change year = 1980)"

When I looked indside the scenario folder, I couldnt find the globaldata file. I was thinking maybe inside the 1936.eug file, there is a globaldata....but I can't open the eug file like inc file....do I need some kind of program to open a eug file? Also will no time patch v1.2 work on HOI v1.2?

A .eug file is plain text and can be opened with any text editor including Notepad and Wordpad. You can't open it by double-clicking on it unless you set it up yourself but you can use the File-Open menu or drop the file on a shortcut to the text editor that you created on your desktop. AFAIK the NTL 1.2 patch works on HoI 1.00 through 1.06c and on HoI2 1.0 through 1.2.
