Up until a week ago my EUIV game ran well on my mac. Now it won't launch. I have tried some of the suggestions in the older thread but they have not solved the problem.

Is it the game or the launcher that won't run? Because there is an issue with the new launcher where it won't run on older OSs now.

My OS is running High Sierra and cannot be upgraded any further. Please provide the old launcher. It worked fine. I'm not prepared to buy a new computer to play a game.
Are you sure of that? Any Mac newer than about 2011 ought to be able to be updated ... the reason it no longer runs is the underlying Electron code needed to be updated for security and performance reasons.

My Mac is a 2010 version. The game I bought through steam worked fine until the changes were made.
