Hi i have recently bought europa universails rome alone with sevral of my mate but when we try to play online it just says that there game can not be found i assume this is because the sever is down i was wondering if there is any way i can play it with them thanks
 
To play on the Metaserver you must have the most current version of the game, which is to say the Rome expansion Vae Victus. With just the Rome base game you can play with each other via direct IP. Gaute65's link is for EU3 but the technical details are the same as for Rome.
