Hello everybody! I'm new to this forum,a member of another(swedish)forum told me to look for help here,so here I am! Here's the deal: I love modding games,although I suck at it. In the(wonderful)AGCEEP mod(s),they've changed the names of many countries,like Nippon,they named it Japan. Nippon,or Nihon is the name the japanese call their country,so I understand why Paradox choose Nippon,however,the name Japan clings much better! So,e.g. if I'd like to change the name of a country,say Mataram,and turn it into Indonesia(after all,Mataram lies on the Indonese head island). How do I do? is it even possible? Now,it is Dai Viet I'd like to change the of,to Vietnam(dunno why,just wants to). How to do? Please,help me!

In the Config folder, there is a file called text.csv. You can open it with Notepad. Just look for these entries:

DAI;Dai Viet;;;;;;;;;;1306
MTR;Mataram;;;;;;;;;;1340

and change them to

DAI;Vietnam;;;;;;;;;;1306
MTR;Indonesia;;;;;;;;;;1340

Thank you Third Angel..but are you sure that's all to it? There's nothing else I must do?

The only thing I can think of is that Mataram will still be called as such in the events texts and in the country's description at scenario start. If you want complete consistency, you would have to run a search/replace through text.csv so that every occurence of Mataram is changed to Indonesia.
