Or just any nation that takes the mandate.
That is somewhat impossible due to how missions are scripted. Let's look into it!
Every missions file has a set of missions scripted inside it. These missions occupy certain columns and rows (sort of like an X/Y axis)
The EoC missions all occupy specific positions on the X Y axis and are especially handmade one by one to fit with all Chinese / Korean / Japanese trees.
If I was to make them compatible with any other country (like France for example) I would have to make a new version of these missions from scratch with different X Y positions on the axis that would be compatible with France.
And that would be necessary x 20 / 30 / however many nations we want to grant these missions to.

Let's not even tackle the whole "QA must test the content" side of this endeavor, it would take way too long unfortunately

Does this mean Sinicized cultures no longer get access to EoC missions? Such a shame then
They never did, technically.
So Japan has its own version of EoC missions in their file, but it still shows up the same in game right?
yes, correct. I pushed this fix because the EoC missions from the Chinese_Missions file checks for culture + being Mandate holder. Japan has its own handmade version of the missions in her file. So when Japan changed culture to Chinese and then took the Mandate, chaos ensued because the game did not know which set to give, so it gave them both

Kinda disappointed that they didn't fix Mercenary Discipline detailed here
same, this is what ive been holding out for to play the game
We have this issue tracked, but as it requires some time to address it properly and test that it works correctly, it didn't make the cut for 1.35.5, so we'll take a look at it for the next version, most probably.
Current toll seems to be 9 confirmed 1.35.4 bug reports, and 3 of them are CTDs.

Does the dev team go on holiday by Swedish (Midsummer to end of July) or Spanish (August) schedule? That is, when is there any hope of a patch, or even an announcement of an upcoming patch?
That doesn't only affect the Swedish and Spanish dev teams, but also the vendors (Steam, MS, Epic, GOG), as their workers usually go on holiday on these dates. We're taking a look at the CTDs reported, and we'll let you know in a few days if we'll be able to release another hotfix, or if we'll have to delay it for reasons out of our reach.
