Europa Universalis IV: Patch 1.35.6 is Now Live! - Checksum [1ede] - NOT FOR PROBLEM REPORTS!

Greetings one and all!

Today we released a hotfix patch to address some crashes that's been annoying us all for a while.

There shouldn't be any issues with 1.35.5 save files although we can never guarantee it.

As always, please report any issues in our bug report forum or submit a support ticket. Thank you!

- Fixed CTD related to having trade centers as tributaries.
- Fixed CTD fix related to the zone of control tooltips.
- Fixed CTD related to tool tipping a subunit that doesn't belong to a unit.
- Fixed CTD when missing to specify a modifier for opinion effect.
- Fixed CTD related to removing countries from the war which would invalidate paths due to forts blocking.
- Fixed CTD related to declaring war and subjects not having a subject type.

AFAIK it's a feature.

1. it should be trivial to fix.
2. its been in the game for many years.

it became much worse in current patch. I had PUs with vassals or colonial nations earlier and it wasn't that bad.

Yes, they worked fine in my Ming run.

As far as I know, it wouldn't be the first thing that has fit that profile and then suddenly, one day, been fixed.

5. Britain/ France can form India/ East India Company with a government reform with high tolerance of heathens and prevents conversion however the nation being catholic / anglican. I know there is a British version. But it very well could have been france or dutch

Does it help if you disable the steam overlay? Steam broke something with their big update a few weeks ago, but it didn't crash for me recently, so maybe a subsequent update fixed it. If disabling the steam overlay doesn't help, it is best if you make a new thread in the tech support forum and attach your log files and the exception.txt from the crash

Well, I haven't tried to restart Steam yet, but I'll definitely give it a shot tomorrow..

Please let me know if it helps. And if not, you can find other workarounds in this comment of mine in a tech support thread and the following comments. The comments above discuss messages in the error.log which are probably unrelated.
