European buildings

I there !

I'm making a new map of my city, Geneva, which have a lot of old european style buildings, only...

... I can't find them anywhere in the map editor menu !!! just have the US buildings as usual !!!

Is there some patch to add, or some other reason ? It won't be nice to build my city without those !

Can someone help ??? Thanks

From what I've read the option to change building set is only available when you create a brand new map in the editor.

Try installing this mod, it will solve your problem. This enables both building sets (Euro & US) to be accessible in the map editor.

Interesting find. Be careful though, keep a backup of your map before installing this mod, It's possible a future patch by Co may break maps with dual building assets.

There's no way to choose european buildings in the editor, even starting a new map. I'm gonna try to install the patch Norfolk_Chris says, if I know where to put it !...

Hope there will be a new option to choose buildings EU or US or both !

Hello again, finally discovered my problem ( it will be yours if you try to make your own EU city ) !

In fact, when you generate your region's map with the map generator, your map is treated as an US map.

It means that you can't use all buildings, and if you live in a big EU city, you all know we have tall buildings too, like in US !!!

I don't know if, by changing some code in some files, you can have your generated map with EU buildings. If someone tried it please tell how to do it !

I hope there will be an official patch lo link those two ways of constructing !

When you create a new map in the map editor you are asked if you want an EU or US map. (This will only happen if you have installed the Euro buildings DLC!) You must choose to continue!
