The year is 1943, playing N/N as USA. I pulled off Torch successfully, but when Germany decides to annex Vichy the game always crashes. I've tried changing province ownership in N. Africa to Italy and then retaking those provinces later on to preclude an attempted annexation at the beginning of the game. I then slowed it down to above normal and waited, but even then it still crashed. I have not modded the event in any way.
