I created an event. When I fire it through the console, it fires normally and works fine. However, when I try to fire it through the console when in a saved game, nothing happens. No event pops up. The event is set to be included in the global events file (db/events). Why doesn't can't it be manually fired in the savegame?

I believe the save games are done so that they will ignore every modification done after the save. This becomes pretty obvious if you load up a save game and look the first lines and what it claims to be the savegame checksum.

While it's pretty much of a longshot, you could try editing the checksum and see if it has any effect at all.

if its just one single event (or only a few) try to add it to one of the event files to make it work in the ongoing game. iirc those paths in db/events-txt are already saved in your save game somewhere so adding a new one there has no effect on your save game, unless you modd this path in as well (never did this, but thats how i expect it to work)

It's actually a series of 13 events, but I only need three of them right now. I'll add them to an existing event file and see.
E: Sigh, still doesn't work.
