Kinda noobish question... Is there any way to use bigger resolution pics for events? Or is it just 400x116 and 156x116?

I was holding off to see if anyone else would answer you ... But since no-one has, ... if you go to the main folder of the game, find the Modding Docs?... inside you'll find event commands, a text file... open it up and search for "style" , as in style = 1 etc... and this will give you the info you require.

If you look in DH/gfx/interface... you'll find the backgrounds for the pics and the sizes as well.

Meh nova, I know about styles and templates, I'm just curious whether DH supports bigger resolution pics without messing them up

No, unfortunately

That's a pity as I have a book-full of battle maps, and I was hoping to have events such as.. "Mein Furhrer, we finally have our plan for the invasion of the USSR ready for your approval. I have it here, see...!".. and then show a large map on screen.

I wonder if you had the larger pics in 8-bit, or 16-bit, would they then work?

Won´t work as the Game would crash.

Yeah.. but.... If say, I got 2 map-events to pop-up simultaneously (or as nearest), and I split the map between the 2 events, I would have a map to show the Furhrer?.... He of course would ask: "Why is the map in 2 pieces?".. and cunningly I would answer... "Mein Furhrer, that is for reasons of secrecy!" At no time (except now) are the 2 parts together.....:)

OK it can be done, but obviously the settings for the pics need to be changed.. I mean:

Allow for a larger photo
Allow for the header and text to move down the page to allow for the pic.
Somehow... to be abe to LOSE FOCUS on the first event, so when the 2nd event fires, you can move them side-by-side... Get the idea?

Inner Circle can you oblige with the above?
