Anybody knows how to create event which could offer vassalization and christianity to pagan rulers? basically i am talking about Baltic pagans. Historically there was situations when old prussians and lethigallians (actually latvians) accepted vassalization and christianity in 12-13century. Allmost the same with Lithuanians.
 
I would like something like this. I'm thinking especially of the 1337 scenario and Lithuania. There has to be a way of princes converting to orthodoxy before taking over Rus principalities, or of simulating Lithuania's inevitable conversion to either Orthodoxy or Catholicism.

But, yes of course, to simulate historical conversions for 1066, and as well as alternative history gameplay ones later (a Mordvin chief converting and beginning a kingdom in the east of Russia would be cool).

I am not sure that is possible to do in one event ... but once a pagan/muslim/jewish ruler becomes vassal of a christian, it is only a matter of time before they convert to christianity ... so it will happen eventually.

yes i know about it, but i think that possibility to "offer christianity and vassalage or WAR" to pagan rulers could be great event! Poland several times tried to christianize old prussians. Many bishops where send to prussia by pope and prussisan neghbours.
 
It is possible to write events that change a character's religion. (The education events all change religion to realm_religion when education is finished for example.)

I don't think anybody has written such events though. I would be fun if there was a way...

As for making someone a vassal, I don't think there is an event command to do so.
 
It is not possible to to convert a character to a specific religion -- only to that of the realm overlord. So this would only work for pagans that are already subjects of a christian king.

Vassalage is not done by events, so there's no way to make pagans vassals of a neighbouring christian either.

The only way to pick up pagan vassals is by conquering the title of their overlord: if you conquer the pagan king of Lithuania, any of his duke or count vassals should become yours. They will then eventually get events demanding them to convert to the realm overlord's religion (yours).
