Excel wont work

I cant get my EU to start, because it says Excel wont work.

These files will not install.

EU2.exe
text.exe
DB/infra.csv
DB/Land.csv
DB/Naval.csv
DB/Province.csv
DB/tax.stab.csv
DB/trade.csv

Is there a way I can get these files?

Well I didnt download any patches, I asked my father to take a look at it and he fixed it right up, but now im playing version 1.00.

If your problem is that the installer fails to install the .csv files, you could try (temporarily) disabling Excel as the default application for .csv files while installing. That might help.
