Recently I've been seeing players in MP games sending large numbers of forces to fight in the Spanish Civil war. In particular, France, Germany and to a lesser extent the UK.

Personally I feel setting some kind of limit on this would be beneficial for the group I play with, and I was wondering if any other MP'ers have had any experience in limiting this to more realistic levels, and if so, how this worked out.

From my perspective, setting a level of a maximum intervention force of 'volunteers' at say, 1-3 divisions seems fair, whilst keeping the fight, by and large, a spanish affair

DEG played with a max 3 unit exp forces limit per country for a long time with good results except from preventing early Italian expansion. Recently we have added that you may only send those 3 exp force to Spain units if you have chosen to support your faction in the civil war event.

USSR should probably be allowed to send larger quanteties to her neighbouring states.

3 pre war divisions would represent around 50.000 men and is still a substantial interference.

I like the 3 Div only if the player also supprted with the event. :)

ALthough most games require you to be allied to a nation if you are sending them troops, I suppose military access might work as well.
