Expanding citys?

Okey I've searched around abit for this and I couldn't really find anything so I figured I might ask. Is it in anyway possible to expand citys like you can with castles? I'm mostly just curious about this and I couldn't find anything about it on the subforum here. Might just be blind as a bat though...

I don't think that it has been added in yet. You can always take the money away from yourself and save edit. Or you could not RP I'm not forcing you.

There are submods adding new buildings and such. That's a form of expanding.
