I was just getting a little bored of CK/EU3 and thought I'd look around at the other forums to see what games Paradox has that I've never heard of (which is almost always every one of them until I actually get it but am rarely disapppointed).

Even with a generally good expectation I expected another Clausewitz mapgame or maybe even Mount&Blade type with Britannia lore but wow this game is very nice! It's too bad the text quests couldn't get fleshed out more but so far it's been pretty captivating regardless, definitely moreso than other games with the same type of interactinos.

Anyway, l am amazed at the number of elements combined and none of them really seem to be lacking substance as I would expect, the mapgame portion works well as does the RPG and real-time battle portion.

All in all, very pleasantly surprised at the quality and depth of this game :D The art/writing especially are way better than I would have expected, not to discount the gameplay which despite being relatively complex is still fairly intuitive and also just works.

I feel like a shill here but I really hope to see a lot more from Neocore this is insanely impressive for a company I'd never heard of, have to go try Crusaders now too.
