Deleted some older ones as they were so old they are no longer relevant.
I'm creating this thread as a central place to collect current exploits. If you know of any exploits please list them below, hopefully with a video to the exploit itself to demonstrate how it is done. These are being collected for the purpose of helping the multiplayer community be aware so that they can be countered through fixes to balance mods or for the devs to notice them and address them.
1. AI Trade exploits
This ultimately abuses the AI's inability to evaluate the situation to get it to do one side trades. Examples are to get higher pop growth through migration treaties where you have insane migration pull or continuously trading scientists to your overlord for sweet deals.
2. Hegemon membercide
Boot one of the members on day 0, then war declare them 10 years later to capture a fully developed capital planet.
3. Negative economy exploits
Supposedly fixed in 3.4.3: All resources provided for deficit bailouts now scale with the game year, instead of just those for the situation that completed.
Below is an old exploit from 3.1 Lem that was fixed. Will leave this as an example though.
4. Negative stat exploits
Similar to negative economy exploits, the objective is finding a stat that can go negative and then abusing the hell out of it some how. Two of them so far in recent releases have focused on Empire size.
5. Stacking Exploits
These general exploits focus on stacking an absurd number of easily available modifiers to yield absurd bonuses.
The simplest one is Fanatical Purifier + Fanatic Militarist + Distinguished Admiralty + Clones + etc... = greater than 100% firepower boost at game start
Enmity was a recent one that was nerfed
The most recent one is Martial Law which involves taking Distinguished Admiralty + Memory vaults to get amazing Commander governors at game start with +50% resource production bonuses.
